Currently $0 ARR · Florida name change pending · Not hiding it

Two 50-year-olds. One big question.

Can two founders — no VC money, no big team — build a $500K ARR venture studio using AI as the engine? We genuinely don't know. We're going to find out, and we're doing it in public.

Heather runs ops and marketing. Craig writes the code. We've never done this before. That's kind of the point.

What we're building

Three products in progress. One is built and waiting to launch. Two are in development. Here's where each one stands.

  • Built · Awaiting Florida launch

    BuildCreditAI

The right credit products. In the right order.

The strategy layer for building US credit. Helps newcomers, young adults, and parents figure out which credit products to use, when, and why. Personalized roadmap, 2-minute onboarding, no credit pull, no SSN required.

Heather spent 20+ years in banking watching the same problem — smart, responsible people locked out of credit because no one explained how the system actually works.

    Laudvi

Never miss a review. Never struggle for words.

Reputation management for independent restaurants, salons, hotels, medical practices, and retail shops. Aggregated review dashboard with AI response drafts. Built for the businesses Birdeye charges $349/month to ignore.

Independent SMBs need reputation management but they're too small for Birdeye and too busy for spreadsheets. We're building Laudvi for them — $49 to $179 a month, cancel anytime.

    TradeReply

Every missed ring becomes a qualified lead.

Instant missed-call recovery for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical contractors. Three texts. Every missed ring becomes a qualified lead. Built for trades where the answering machine is the enemy.

Trades miss calls. Customers don't wait. Sprint 1 of TradeReply is built. We're holding launch and customer validation until the Florida name change clears.

Hi. We're Heather and Craig.

We're both 50. We've spent our careers in corporate jobs — Craig in IT and financial services, Heather in operations and marketing. A couple of years ago we decided to bet on ourselves and build something of our own.

We're using AI as our execution engine — it handles a lot of the day-to-day work that would normally require a team of 10. Whether that's enough to get us to $500K ARR, we'll find out together.

We'll take advice from anyone. Friends, family, strangers on the internet, experts. If you've been here before and know something we don't — tell us. We mean it.

Heather and Craig, founders of Averian Labs

How we build

We built a platform called Orbit to operate the studio. Nine specialized AI agents handle different parts of the venture lifecycle. Two of those agents build new agents and orchestrate the team itself. That's how two founders can credibly run three SaaS products — by automating the day-to-day work that used to require a team of 10 to 20 people.

  • Olivia finds and validates ideas.
  • Drew turns validated ideas into product outlines.
  • Cody ships the code; Quinn reviews the pull requests.
  • Indigo produces brand systems; Lana plans launches.
  • Forge builds new agents. Helios orchestrates the team.

This is the experiment. We're using it to test whether AI can run the day-to-day of a venture studio. Currently $0 ARR. Target $500K. Watch the journey.

Follow along. Tell us what we're missing.

Every week we publish what got built, what broke, what we changed our minds about, and where the revenue number stands. No filter. If you have advice, a question, or just want to watch two people figure this out in real time — you're in the right place.
